Job Description:
1. Teaching English, French or medical sciences on both campuses or in the
affiliated hospitals
2. Planning, developing, preparing and delivering lessons
3. Classroom management
4. Preparing and setting tests, examination papers and exercises
5. Evaluating students’ class work, assignments, tests
6. Devising, writing and producing new materials, including audio and visual
resources
7. Working cooperatively with partner teachers and administrative staff
8. Joining staff's workshops, research group or English corner
9. Giving open lectures if possible
Qualifications:
1. Degree - A bachelor’s degree or higher, a recognized TEFL/TESOL certificate
being preferable
2. Major - Linguistics/Literature, Education, Medical Sciences, Nursing and other
Sciences etc.
3. Work Experience - At least two years of classroom teaching experience
Benefits:
1. Basic Salary - ¥5,000 per month (raising ¥300 by year)
2. Rent Allowance - ¥1,500 per month (only if you live outside the campus)
3. Utilities Allowance - ¥300 per month for electricity, water and gas
4. Class Bonus - ¥80 per period (usually 14-16 hours per week)
5. Performance Bonus - ¥40 per period (only if you pass the performance
evaluation each semester)
6. Summer Vacation Travel Fund - ¥2,000 per academic year
Transportation:
1. International flight: A round-trip ticket is offered after completing an academic
year contract and the contract is renewed for one more academic year; A single-trip
ticket is offered for an academic year contract.
2. Commute: Shuttle bus between the two campuses (based on the class schedule)
Accommodations:
A well-facilitated apartment on campus for free, including a sitting room, a study, a
bedroom and a modern kitchen, and a western style bathroom
